CAL FLAG LEAGUE

The Cal Flag League is the foundation of the premier girls flag football pathway on the West Coast. Designed as an open-entry but high-standard league, Cal Flag serves as the launchpad for club teams looking to build, compete, and rise through a tiered system. It offers a consistent game environment, structured like a true league, not just a tournament circuit, where teams compete monthly across divisions to earn their place among the region’s best.

Whether you’re a rising club or an established program looking to prove it, this is where the journey starts. Every snap counts, because at Cal Flag, you’re not just playing for wins…you’re playing for promotion.

Teams participating in Cal Flag are also eligible for NFL FLAG West Coast Regionals and Super Regionals.

OAKLEY ICON ALLIANCE QUALIFIER SERIES

Designed to elevate the standard of competitive girls flag football, this tiered league system offers a clear progression from local play to national prominence. Beginning with the open-entry Cal Flag League, teams earn their way into the elite Oakley Icon Alliance League, where top-tier competition determines who advances to the Oakley Icon Alliance West Coast Regional. The journey culminates on the national stage at the OIA Championships, hosted by Oakley, where the top 8 teams in the country battle for ultimate recognition. This is a system built on performance, not reputation, where every level must be earned, and only the best rise.
